Abstract:

The Monte Sinai community Center takes as a point of departure the absence of social infrastructure within this informal settlement located in an urban slum of the city of Guayaquil. The foundations of the Project consist of fostering the intellectual, social, cultural, and recreational development of this community. The axis of the Project design pursues the generation of recreational areas and flexible spaces that are able to revitalize the interaction and recreation, for instance, auditorium, libraries, laboratories. All of this, as a result of an analysis of the population and the urban shortages of this community.
