A tool to create grammar based systems

Abstract:

This paper describes an Integrated Development Environment (IDE) for the automatic generations of language-based tools to be used in the grammar-based systems, that adopts the functionality of the classic tools and other innovative solutions to ease the implementation of these systems in the new fields of grammar application. The IDE attenuates the complexity of the manual design of the grammar specification, improves the quality of the obtained product and sensibly diminishes the development time and cost. We tried to reduce the learning time for users not expert in the area of compiler generation. © 2009 Springer-Verlag Berlin Heidelberg.
