Characterization of a Brillouin amplifier and a Brillouin laser optically injected

Abstract:

We studied, both theoretically and experimentally, the evolution of the Brillouin gain curve and the gain saturation in a Brillouin amplifier. Taking into account the Fresnel reflexions arising at the boundaries of the fiber, we have then studied the dynamical behavior of a Brillouin laser optically injected.
