Characterization of dependence social risk. Implications for its management in Europe

Abstract:

This article demonstrates how social risk management of the care of long-term should follow a management pluralistic approach. To do this, we first analyse the concept and characteristics of the risk of dependence. Then, we analyse the different models of dependency management in Europe, highlighting their differences and similarities. Finally, we relate the characteristics of this social risk with these similarities in its management. To conclude that the management of this social right, by its own characteristics and management trends in Europe, is based on the pluralistic approach of the Welfare State.
