A trust view for a method to eParticipation life cycle

Abstract:

The trust plays an important role in eParticipation processes as a key for citizens to decide about on participation in a specific process. This paper presents a literary review of the incorporation of Information and Communications Technology (ICT) in eParticipation and the utilization of Trust in the application domain of electronic government. Three research goals are presented, the first two achieved by incorporating trusting techniques in the standard method for public participation described and, a third goal that raises the design a framework for evaluating results to be realized as future work.
