A university-level view: Gender stereotypes and patterns
Abstract:
This study deals with gender stereotypes and behavior patterns, the objective was to know the perceptions of university students regarding them in the educational field. It is an experimental, multi-methodological work, composed of a mixed approach: qualitative-quantitative, based on an adapted questionnaire. After applying the questionnaire, the construct was validated, obtaining an acceptable reliability according to Alpha de Cronbranch of 0.718. A factor analysis was used to visualize the hierarchical order of the variables that have the greatest influence. In conclusion, it can be mentioned that the participants evidenced the marked existence of gender stereotypes.
