Chronic chagasic patients classification using normalized cumulants

Abstract:

The normalized cumulants for quantifying the variations of the spectral temporal mapping obtained from signal-average electrocardiogram (SAECG) are presented. SAECG is a non-invasive method that can be used for identifying patients prone to develop ventricular tachycardias abased on the detection of late potentials. The parameter obtained from normalized cumulants estimation can be used in spectral turbulence analysis and helps to resolve the problem of chronic chagasic classification in early stages.
