Abstract:

He current stage of development of the world economy is characterized by the fact that the formed economic system, focused on the continuous growth of the level of production, profit, consumption, leads to the depletion of resources; Circular economy is understood as that strategy whose objective is to reduce both the input of virgin materials and the output of waste from the production chain. Said objective would be carried out from the closure in loops of the consumption chain. The methodology used for this research work is framed within a bibliographic review of documentary type, since we are going to deal with issues raised at a theoretical level such as circular economy and sustainable Entrepreneurship. The technique for data collection is made up of electronic materials, the latter such as Google Scholar, among others, relying for this on the use of certified descriptors endorsed by the UNESCO thesaurus. The information obtained here will be reviewed for further analysis. We understand then that the circular economy is the reuse of waste that is discarded in a production process, which is generally not used by the production processes of the so-called linear economies. In theory, this approach also involves the concepts of recycling through reuse and protection of the environment. How is the concept of entrepreneurship involved in the circular economy? Because entrepreneurship in many cases also implies innovating, offering new products, making the economy more dynamic, and in this context the use of waste from other production processes can be extraordinary inputs for the production of new products and services.
