A34 CLINICAL ASTHMA II: Knowledge And Attitude About Aspirin-Exacerbated Respiratory Disease In Latinoamerican Physicians
Abstract:
Methods. Observational, cross-sectional study. Pilot survey was developed including 11 items about knowledge (epidemiology, pathophysiology, symptoms, diagnosis and treatment) and 5 about attitude about AERD (importance and confidence) of AERD in physicians. Demographical variables as age, sex and years after graduation was included. Descriptive statistics (average and percentage) was used for answers. Also, Chi square was employed for correct answers and sex, T test for age, and ANOVA for average of correct answers and age categories. Spearman correlation was used between knowledge and attitude, and Pearson correlation for age and number of correct answers. Cronbach's alpha was employed to determine the consistency of the questionnaire.
