AB0532 Diagnostic Performance of the American-European 2002 Criteria and the Preliminary 2012 American Criteria for Primary SjÖGren Syndrome
Abstract:
Background The diversity of classification criteria for Primary Sjögren9s Syndrome (pSS) makes it difficult to draw conclusions from clinical studies. The most commonly used are the 2002 American European criteria. Recently, the new 2012 preliminary criteria have been proposed. Objectives To assess the diagnostic value of both pSS classification criteria, the American-European 2002 and the preliminary 2012. Methods The medical expert opinion of rheumatologists from different reference centers in Argentina was considered as the Gold Standard. Sensitivity (S), specificity (Sp), positive pbkp_redictive value (PPV), negative pbkp_redictive value (NPV), and positive likelihood ratio (LR+) of both criteria was evaluated.
