Climatic Scenarios in the presence of El Nino Phenomenon (ENP) in the Micro-basins Cristal, Potosi, Pechiche and Balsas del Ecuador basins

Abstract:

In the frame of coordination of the Ecuadorian Space Institute in the research project entitled "Space Technology and Geophysics at the Geodynamic External Risk Management for the Prevention and Mitigation of Floods and Torrential Flood" a characterization characterization and definition of climate scenarios in the study area has been developed, based on the analysis of historical data of meteorological and hydrological stations in the area. The study area consists of the Cristal, Potosi, Balsas and Pechiche microcuencas, cuencas, located between the provinces of Los Rios and Bolivar in Ecuador.
