Colon and rectum cancer retrospective study in the last five years in ION SOLCA Guayaquil

Abstract:

[en] Colon and rectum cancer are the second cause of death for cancer in the United States. We can often found them very advanced at the time of the diagnosis, what makes it is healing generally surgical. It is important to recognize the symptoms and the correct investigation tests that can defect cancer at early stages. Radiotherapy and chemotherapy are used. The purpose of this study is to determine the incidence of colon and rectum cancer in our population and to compare the described data with world literature about this subject.(The author)
