Abstract:

CoLInter. The division ratio provided by the four decades is such th; it the counter rcceivcs 1 pt 1 h/~. The elapsed time can be reail in seconds from the counter, the four decimal places being taken from the meters calibrated 0-9 which are con. spring isochronal error. The driving powcr may be limitcd by magnetic saturation. It is possible to use the stator to drive both the balance-wheel and it gear-stepping armature. thus enabling the balance-whcel to operate under frccswinging conditions. A typical model utilizes a I g balancewheel of diameter I. 75 cm. With a powcr input of X pW, the excursion is i 270’.’and the duration of the impulse is lo--3 of the bent period.
