ADAPTATION AND VALIDATION OF THE CHASIDE BATTERY: STUDY WITH ECUADORIAN STUDENTS
Abstract:
Vocational guidance is directly related to the life project of a person, thus the development of instruments which provide the right choice for people in relation to their professional activity is a priority; is in this way that the current research work corresponds to a hypotheticaldeductive method, mainly because of its experimental nature through a reliable and valid instrument for the vocational guidance in the Ecuadorian context, adapting the instrument for vocational guidance CHASIDE to this case study, which analyzes aptitudes and interests of students in their professional activity. CHASIDE was applied to 350 high school teens of third year of bachelor, between 16 and 17 years old, statisticians who support this research of results that were processed from a partial of 77% women and 23% men, at the same time equivalences such as: semantic, operational, and mediation were applied as well as reliability tools for the instrument and a positive correlation between the analyzed variables through the Spearman coefficient ratifying the correlation of the instrument items.
