ADMINISTRATIVE MANAGEMENT OF THE NATIONAL STORAGE UNIT. CANTON QUEVEDO, LOS RÍOS PROVINCE

Abstract:

In the current era, finding companies where workers show poor performance and variable work behavior is a frequent fact, often given by an organizational culture lacking pillars such as the reciprocity of the company towards the workers and insufficient management. This article is based on the research carried out in the Quevedo Silos Plant of the National Storage Unit, located in the Los Ríos province, for which a Procedures Manual is designed, in order to support the improvement of the administration in driving company resources. To carry out the study, an internal control questionnaire was applied to determine the degree of confidence and risk; surveys of farmers benefiting from the Unit’s service, and an interview with the Plant Manager to diagnose and collect information on the subject. In this way, the causes and conclusions about the insufficiencies in operational-administrative management of the entity were established, developing for this the solution proposal to the detected problems, which guides and guides the company in order to achieve change and development.
