AFRO-ECUADORIAN RACISM AND ITS INCIDENCE IN THE MEDIA

Abstract:

The objective of this research is to carry out a study of the discrimination of the Afro-Ecuadorian people and its incidence in the historical, social, political and cultural phenomena in Ecuador. The methodology used in the research is qualitative, descriptive and explanatory because it characterizes and argues the situation of the Afro-Ecuadorian people and its impact on historical, social, political and cultural phenomena in Ecuador from the survey conducted through surveys. Ensure equal access to essential public services and take measures against concentration and segregation, and promote cultural diversity where to provide victims of racism with comprehensive assistance in the defense of their rights through partnerships with their representative organizations ensuring access and effectiveness of services provided mainly legal assistance and mediation. However, there is still evidence of inappropriate trends in the treatment of Afro-Ecuadorian racism and its reproduction in the media.
