Competencias gerenciales en los sectores productivos de la provincia de Tungurahua.

Abstract:

The present project has as a purpose to know the competences that the managers of the productive sectors or priority of the Tungurahua Province use, for which it was based as a base to nine sectors that are in the productive matrix that is currently encouraging the government which are The sector includes: metalworking sector, leather / footwear sector, petrochemical sector, fresh industrialized food, processed and beverage sector, pharmaceutical sector, technological sector, agroforestry sector, textile sector and tourism sector. By means of the observation, it was possible to demonstrate what is the problem that affects the organizations "inadequate management of the managerial competences in the managers of the productive sectors of the province of Tungurahua" provoking a serious problem among the collaborators affecting their performance, In order to find an adequate solution the present investigation was carried out. As a first step, a characterization of concepts of managerial competences was carried out, field research, bibliography, exploratory and correlational research were used, the structured survey technique was used, a questionnaire was designed with 18 questions with a Likert scale Which was validated through Cronbach's alpha, which allows us to evaluate the reliability of a tool, resulting in 0.895, which indicates that the test is valid for collecting the information. We applied the survey to 199 managers, which allowed identifying the competencies that they have, tabulated in the SPPS program we obtained the results for analysis and interpretation and presentation. The managers of the productive sectors of the province of Tungurahua, most of the management bases its action empirically, demonstrating a lack in many of the competences for which it is favorable to create a training plan in high management skills to apply it in the sectors Productive of the province of Tungurahua and in this way strengthen the managerial competences to achieve an improvement in the business management.
