ANALYSIS OF THE PAST-DUE PORTFOLIO AND ITS IMPACT ON THE LIQUI¬DITY OF BANCO PICHINCHA IN PUYO

Abstract:

The cbkp_redit risk management, has constituted a challenge in several dimensions for the financial institutions, mainly in the administration of the expired portfolio within the international and national context; the National Banking that has delivered to its clients financial products and services that had the purpose of attending short, medium and long term financing needs; regarding this topic, the cbkp_redit management of the financial entities, had as purpose the delivery of liquid resources through the different cbkp_redit lines, which has been relevant within the environment and management of the entities belonging to the national financial system. Based on the mixed approach, information was collected through the application of interviews with the managers of the financial entity where the research was carried out, making it possible to have qualitative information of relevance and interest; The financial information requires the application of vertical and horizontal financial analysis techniques, as well as the application of financial ratios aimed at knowing the incidences, fluctuations and behavior of the overdue portfolio and liquidity, which has been reflected in the comparison of the statements of the current fiscal year, compared to the financial items presented in the previous year; and as a result of the research there is a significant increase in the liquidity of Banco del Pichincha, which shows the increase in income due to a satisfactory management developed around the normal course of business.
