Computer aided design of Bragg cell spectrum analyzer

Abstract:

This paper address the design of Bragg cell spectrum analyzer based on a versatile computer aided tool which applies to both, the power spectrum (PSA) and the interferometric (ISA) configurations. The temporal response of an ISA, which uses as a reference a pseudonoise waveform, was investigated using a single 8MHz detector and a 1μs rectangular RF pulse moving into a 240ns temporal aperture Bragg cell.
