Computer systems for agronomic and molecular evaluation of 10 introduced hybrids of corn (Zea corn L.) for performance and health in agroclimatic conditions

Abstract:

The main goal of the present investigation was to characterize ten maize hybrids introduced in the area, performing field experiments to evaluate yield and agronomic behavior. The analytical empirical paradigm and the experimental method were used. The complete block design was randomized with ten treatments and three repetitions. The variables evaluated were the following: yield, weight of 100 grains, grains per cob, rows per cob, length of cob, height of male flower, height of female flower, days to male flowering and days to female flowering. According to the results obtained, it was determined that the hybrids COPA, followed by DAS 3385 and AUTENTICA, were the ones that reached the highest yields, with 12 191, 11 613 and 11 016 kg / ha, respectively. The hybrids DAS 3385 and COPA stood out in the weight of 100 grains, grains per cob and length of cob.
