Conclusions and future trends

Abstract:

In this chapter, the editors present some reflections about the themes elaborated in the first two parts of the book, in order to identify open problems in the area of personalized information services and, thereby, point out the challenges that will probably be the focus of research and development efforts in the following years. These observations have been driven by comments gathered from some of the invited authors, to benefit from their expertise and their knowledge of specific domains of application.
