Conflictos laborales en ambientes interculturales: Caso de estudio; trabajadores del Municipio Intercultural de Saraguro
Abstract:
The subject in this investigation generates an analysis of various concepts of vital importance regarding employment discrimination; especially when it occurs against people of indigenous people in Ecuador. Taking as reference the 2008 Republic´s Constitution and other legislation, in order to establish the characteristics and rights these people have in our country. Also, it will define the nature of conflict, its various aspects and how these affect people of different cultural groups within the workplace; how to solve different adversities or attitudes generated by members of a different cultural groups or vice versa. As for workplace discrimination, we made an analysis from the research made by the Afroecuadorian Social Indicators System published in 2005 about “Racism and Racial Discrimination in Ecuador 2004”, which, through surveys, defined the perception of discriminatory acts at workplaces in Ecuador, including indigenous groups, and other etno/cultural groups.
