Abstract:

This research was born from the XV call of the research direction of the University of Cuenca, the project called "knowledge, beliefs, attitudes and sexual practices linked to HIV / AIDS in the parish of Don Bosco sevilla" Morona Santiago 2017 In Literature there are several investigations that constitute references for the development of the present investigation, such is the case of the work carried out by Guerrero, M. with the subject "Knowledge, attitudes and risky sexual practices against HIV / AIDS in a population deprived of liberty. The case of Cartagena"(1). Finally, the work of Gómez, A. is taken as a reference with the objective of determining the knowledge, attitudes and practices in relation to sexuality that adolescents of the fifth year of secondary education have at the Educational Technical Institution of Peru BIRF "Republic of Ecuador" (2). OBJECTIVE: To analyze the knowledge, beliefs, attitudes and sexual practices linked to HIV / AIDS, at the Sagrado Corazón of Morona Santiago Community 2017. METHODOLOGICAL USE: The design of the research is qualitative post positivist phenomenological given that it will be used as a technique for the collection of information, the semi-structured interview, and as an instrument the interview guide, which will be applied to a sample taken at convenience composed of 5 adolescents with ages between 12 and 17 years old, with an active sexual life of the Shuar ethnic group. The information obtained will be transcribed into text emphasizing the most relevant, Microsoft Word program will be used, making analysis and classifications, links, identification of categories, concepts, propositions and values, with which an analysis and systematization will be carried out with the Atlas-TI software
