Construcción e implementación de una sala de recreación para niños y adultos en el área de preembarque internacional del nuevo aeropuerto de Quito

Abstract:

In the business plan, we studied the feasibility for building and implementing a recreational lounge for children and adults un the pre-boarding area in the New International Airport of Quito, the of the company is LOUNGE AIR. The main methodology for the market research is the survey, which was made to 400 passengers, the results are very positive as they confirm that the group of passengers (children and youth) is completely unattended, so the approach and satisfaction of needs in this group of passengers is appropriate. A focus group, which showed promising results for the viability of the business plan was the second methodology used. Expert interviews were the third methodology used for the market research, the two experts who were interview are an Interior Architect and the second a Clinical Psychologist, to determine jointly the best equipment options for the recreational lounge and the location of the areas according the age of the passengers to achieve the satisfaction of the needs of all users. In terms of marketing strategy, the main advertisement will be through national and international airlines magazine publications, also through inserts in statements of the mail cbkp_redit cards, billboards will be also used for the purpose. The needs of human resources recruitment were analyzed as well as the professional profiles, the responsibilities of each area and the wages to be paid to the candidates who are selected for each position. The financial study reflected through the results the feasibility of the proposed business plan, because the investment is recovered in short term, and the utility can be reinvesting for the continuous improvement of the lounge according to the users needs.
