ANÁLISIS DE LOS VIDEOJUEGOS COMO PROCESOS COMUNICATIVOS Y SU INCIDENCIA EN LAS RELACIONES INTERPERSONALES DE LOS JÓVENES DE 18 A 22 AÑOS EN LA FACULTAD DE COMUNICACIÓN SOCIAL DE LA UNIVERSIDAD DE GUAYAQUIL EN EL 2016
Abstract:
The research problem is: What is the incidence of video games as communicative processes in personal relationships of young people from 18 to 22 years old in the Faculty of Social Communication at the University of Guayaquil? Hypothesis: Video games have influence on the development of social interaction relationships and communicative and cognitive processes of young people from 18 to 22 years old in the Faculty of Social Communication at the University of Guayaquil. Research design: Non-experimental-transectional and Descriptive. Selected methodology: Phenomenology. Eight research techniques (four quantitative and four qualitative) were used. Selection of non-probabilistic-stratified sample. The variables are: Development of Social Interaction Relationships and Communicative Processes, analyzed by the application of four quantitative and four qualitative research techniques.Based on the analysis of results, videogames can be implemented as integral tools within the educational process, because they influence the development of social interaction relationships and communicative processes of the young people from 18 from to 22 years old of the Faculty of Social Communication at the University of Guayaquil.It is proposed, the realization of a training formed by a series of workshops and seminars, for the implementation of educational video games within the curriculum of the course of Social Communication of the University of Guayaquil
