Consultation attention to the international traveller.

Abstract:

Vaccination guidelines for international travellers in Spain are presented. Routine vaccination is offered for the following diseases: hepatitis B, diphtheria, pertussis, tetanus, Haemophilus influenza b, poliomyelitis, group c meningococci, pneumococcal disease, measles, mumps, rubella, human papillomavirus, varicella and flu. Other important infections are malaria, cholera, hepatitis A, typhoid, tickborne encephalitis, Japanese encephalitis, tetravalent meningococci and rabies. Recommendations for special groups such as those with chronic diseases and pregnant women are also provided.
