Contribution of intellectual capital for administrators of companies dedicated to professional, scientific and technical activities in a city of Ecuador

Abstract:

This Currently, companies have been concerned to give importance to the intangible asset represented in the intellectual capital made up of three dimensions: human, structural and relational capital; Therefore, the research aimed to determine the contribution of the intellectual capital of companies dedicated to professional, scientific and technical activities in a city in Ecuador. The study was descriptive with a quantitative approach, the design of the non-experimental research being cross-sectional, the survey was used as a research technique and a questionnaire as an instrument, applied to 48 managers. The results showed that human capital is the most predominant dimension since it implies commitment and individual or collective trust of the employees towards the organization. On the other hand, organizations must strengthen relational capital, establishing cooperation strategies and networks to maintain lasting relationships.
