A documentary research was carried out to analyze the contributions that various researchers have made on the subject. This bibliographic review synthesizes the research results and establishes the state of the art. In that period (1973-2010) there was strong competition in the film industry, which ended with the imposition of the supremacy of American cinematography in the production of films of the genre.
