Coopetition. A review of the literature

Abstract:

This article proposed to carry out a bibliographic review on the reported publications on "coopetition". Based on the Scopus review, it was possible to analyze the distribution of 265 references per year, discipline and by country. It was possible to specify the articles with the greatest impact in this area. As important investigative directions were determined: A) Application of Game Theory B) Relationship of coopetition with Innovation. C) The analysis of the relationship between knowledge distribution and coopetition. It is analyzed that coopetition is a field of research in full development in which the very definition of the term needs to be refined and research must be developed to understand how it affects business models
