Coordinación óptima de aislamiento en líneas de transmisión de alto voltaje considerando restricciones de contaminación

Abstract:

In electrical power systems, one of the most important tasks is the transmission of energy, an activity that is carried out through transmission lines, elements that must maintain high reliability, so it is important to have a design that is in The ability to withstand any type of disconnection. The disconnections in the transmission lines can occur for several reasons; one of them is the overvoltages at industrial frequency that can be caused by the existence of contamination in the transmission line, before this is done what we know as insulation coordination, activity that is responsible for selecting an insulation resistance that is capable of preventing disconnections. Therefore, the purpose of this article is to solve the problem of insulation coordination that, through its solution, optimizes the number of insulators that must be installed in the different transmission lines. In addition, the value of the Critical Flash Overvoltage, which represents the kilovolts produced by the overvoltage at industrial frequency, will be determined in order to perform an analysis of its effect with respect to the environment and contamination in insulators. In this way, the results obtained with respect to what exists in the transmission system of Ecuador will be analyzed considering different types of environment pollution levels and high and extra high voltage levels.
