Coordinated hunting

Abstract:

The coordinated hunting, produced by the interaction between animals of the same species, is characterized as a sophisticated system of hunting because each animal individually concentrates on specific roles to carry out complementary actions depending on the locomotive capacities and habitat of the species. In this way, it is identified that the coordinated hunt has been observed in reptiles such as crocodiles, caimans, lizards and boas. Also in mammals, specifically species such as orcas, dolphins and primates. These species were studied in their different habitats allowing to describe the system they use during the hunting period to increase the effectiveness of the same.
