Correlations in scale-free networks: Tomography and percolation

Abstract:

Three different models of scale-free networks were discussed. It was pointed out that the Baraba′si-Albert construction model shows distortive behavior with respect to the nodes' degrees, while the node-randomized network shows assortative mixing. The results showed that these strong differences in the shell structure lead only to moderate quantitative differences in the percolation behavior of the network.
