Abstract:
We recently submitted this manuscript and it was accepted after two rounds of reviewing. We forgot to insert very important details about a funding agency and one person that helped us in the logistics and support of the research. I would like to kindly ask you to help us with a precision into the funding sources and acknowledgements section of the referred manuscript. The currents sections of the manuscript appear as follows: This research was founded by Secretariat of Higher Education of Ecuador (SENESCyT), through the EU LAC Health consortium “Hi Water: Efficient and affordable water treatment technologies to minimize waterborne diseases” (Contract number: SENESCyT PIC-17-EULACH-IKIAM-001) and by Erasmus + CBHE consortium “Nature-based living lab for interdisciplinary practical and research semester on sustainable development and environmental protection in the amazon rainforest (Contract Number: 619346-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). Thanks to the CENCINAT of the Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas (ESPE), Dr. Carlos Reynoso, and Dr. Cristian Santacruz, who performed the characterization of the prepared samples. Thanks to Dr. Pablo Cisneros for his support in the development of this work. The authors also recognize the work of Chem Egr. Andrea Salgado, technician of the Geosciences Laboratories at Ikiam. But it should be written as follows: This research was founded by Secretariat of Higher Education of Ecuador by two projects: Hi Water: Efficient and affordable water treatment technologies to minimize waterborne diseases (PIC-17-EULACH-IKIAM-001) and Green Nanotechnology for ammonia and nitrate elimination from water (PIC-18-INE-IKIAM-001). Additional funding was provided by European Commission's project: Nature-based living lab for interdisciplinary practical and research semester on sustainable development and environmental protection in the amazon rainforest (Contract: 619346-EPP-1-2020-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP). Thanks to Carlos Reynoso and Cristian Santacruz of Universidad de las Fuerzas Armadas (ESPE), who performed the instrumental characterization of the thin-films. Authors also thank the logistic support from Pablo Cisneros (Yachay Tech), Jan Spengler (Ikiam), Andrea Salgado (Ikiam) and Regina Krause (Hochschule Wismar). The authors would like to apologize for any inconvenience caused. Michael Zuarez-Chamba: Conceptualization, Data curation, Methodology, Investigation, Writing -original draft.
