Abstract:

This is a project that consists of two parts; one which covers information relevant to the theme of marriage such as its beginnings, stages, conflicts and descriptions that help create a better development and understanding of what the couple experiences in this part of their individual lives. The other part has to do with the realization and projection of an audiovisual project that shows the investigation made and collected over a period of time following the strict plan made before beginning the entire process. The investigation and the incorporation of different points of view by experts on the theme, as well as referencing a thorough collection of different audiovisual references, will permit a process that creates elaborate workmanship with detailed technics. All of this information permits the strong development and working of each personality that comprises the principle and secondary characters of the script. This project gives a knowledge base on every stage of production that results in an audiovisual piece, in other words the investigation forms a fundamental part of this project, which is knowing the background of every stage of marriage, from the beginning, and through the difficult times experienced by the couple. In addition, there are problems presented caused by secondary factors that affect the personality of every individual and their environment around them. There are even critical moments that clearly show stages that are incbkp_redibly difficult for both people, causing severe repercussions in their well-being. In respect to the technical part of this short film, a specific process and organization will be followed, as well as an elaboration of tools that give a sequence to the work. Days for filming, necessary equipment for the shoots, scenery, dialogue of the characters and the construction of the script with a defined beginning and end of the story, were all kept in mind through the entire process. The music and sound form a fundamental part of this short film as well, so that in the powerful or soft scenes, depending on the progression of the film, these two factors give additional character and intensity to the audiovisual piece and every individual scene that was developed. In conclusion, this short film is a production that shows a marriage affected by unemployment, the different reactions of the individuals pertaining to the history and the diverse distortions that are presented in the environment shown through their family and friends. Overall, the predominant message is that marriage is a very important stage in life, and that it is a mature and serious decision between two people who are willing to promise themselves to each other until death parts them; keeping in mind that there are both good and bad moments, of which they must accept without looking back and in the end, move on.
