Cost Tool-Volume-Usefulness in decision making; industrial companies-Cantón Quevedo.

Abstract:

The manufacturing sector of Ecuador is one of the strongest in terms of generating cash flows and contributing to economic development, as it is an activity with a high added value. Thus, in the Province of Los Ríos, the industrial sector has developed significantly; a clear example of this is the City of Quevedo, which through the implementation of new technologies has made possible the growth of the industry. Hence, in order to ensure proper administrative management and avoid operational losses, much emphasis is placed on the need for the application of the Cost-Volume-Utility tool, which presents the interrelation of changes in costs, volume and profits over time, constituting a useful tool for planning, control, decision making.
