Cracking State in Reinforced Concrete Beams Subject to Bending.

Abstract:

A method is given for the evaluation of the cracking state in reinforced concrete beams. For simple reinforced rectangular cross-sections charts are given which provide the width of cracks. Some simplified formulas allowing for fast and sufficiently approximated calculations are also provided.
