Curricular integration of the profile by competences from a transversal ordering


Abstract:

This article proposes a way to articulate the curricular structure that could enable the integration from a transversality ordering under a competency-based approach. The epistemological assumption was rationalistic and the research route was the formulation of initial guesses, the analysis of implicit theories, the construction and validation of a theoretical model, and finally, the design of practical guidelines. This curriculum integration proposal finds its seat in a vision of interdisciplinarity which projects a kind of horizontal and vertical relationship among the different areas of knowledge, and may be seen as a process that runs transversely within the curriculum.
