Digital Tourism 2.0 in the Diffusion of Guayaquil Culinary Anthropology

Abstract:

The objective of this research work is based on the development of a web 2.0 tool on digital tourism as a diffusion tool for the culinary anthropology of Guayaquil, taking into consideration that tourism in Ecuador is diverse due to the biodiversity and multiculturalism that it exists in all four regions of this country. Most hotels and restaurants do not potentiate digital marketing due to various knowledge factors and at the same time the benefits it produces in the tourism and gastronomic industry, for which it was necessary to develop and implement a website as a low-cost advertising alternative with great alternatives around the world. In this research, a survey was carried out that allowed to know the importance of the typical gastronomy of Guayaquil and the places where tourists can taste it, this survey was carried out to men and women between 20 and 50 years who have visited the city of Guayaquil. The results obtained allowed the development of a web 2.0 diffusion tool as a website focused on the different “Huecas” and Restaurants where people can find typical food of the city. The verification statistic was the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, which consists of measuring the degree of agreement between the distribution of a data set and a specific theoretical distribution. Therefore, it is having reliable results in the application of the proposal.
