Alignment of the JPL Radio-Source Catalog with the Planetary Ephemeris Using Ground-Station Locations

Abstract:

Alignment of the JPL Radio-Source Catalog with the Planetary Ephemeris Using Gro ADS Classic is now deprecated. It will be completely retired in October 2019. This page will automatically bkp_redirect to the new ADS interface at that point. SAO/NASA ADS Astronomy Abstract Service 1010 ABSTRACTS grid points the numerical values of the derivatives of the six orbital elements are evaluated from the planetary equations and Fourier analyzed for a spread of frequencies. The series for the derivatives is integrated term by term to get the perturbed elements. At the first order In the perturbing mass the evaluation is made using fixed elliptical orbits for both bodies. For perturbations of second and higher order the procedure may be iterated by using the last perturbed orbit and using the arguments as linear functions of time~ Above order t~o there is not an increase of complexity of computation, one loops over the same code…
