ICT teaching domain in education 4.0 for children´s virtual environments

Abstract:

The use of Information and Communication Technologies increased considerably due to the Covid-19 pandemic, generating the need for new resources and digitally competent teachers. However, in marginal sectors with greater socioeconomic vulnerability, a different reality is registered, aggravated by the little planning of study programs that include technologies and the possible lack of strategies to reorient educational practices. This study analyzes the level of teacher mastery and availability of digital resources for basic education in virtuality. With a mixed pragmatic approach, an exhaustive literature review is conducted, followed by interviews with authorities and experts in academic management, and opinion polls are developed for teachers and parents involved. The results reflect a minimum use and divergences between the knowledge level and the domain of digital resources used by the teachers evaluated, identifying trends in the basic management of technological tools in educational virtuality.
