Importance of training feedback in the teaching-learning process


Abstract:

This descriptive study of a bibliographic review type has the purpose of analyzing the importance of feedback in the teaching-learning process; it is based on hermeneutics and content analysis. Among the main findings are the knowledge of feedback as a process based on the information provided by the evaluation of the activity or task of the learner, characterized by critical and constructive reflection on the performance of the latter and as a contribution to the improvement of the results through fostering their strategic learning skills; Other of its main attributes are: The personalization and contextualization of the information oriented to the activity of the student more than to his person, objectivity, understandability, relevance, constructive character directed to the search for solutions, clarity, specificity and precision. Feedback is a relevant factor in the achievement of meaningful learning since it allows restructuring the knowledge system, thus preparing the cognitive structures of the learner for the meaningful apprehension of new knowledge, skills and attitudes; it is a process that helps to reduce the gap between the current level of knowledge and the level to which it is aspired.
