Las competencias profesionales de la enfermería y su efecto en la labor profesional

Abstract:

Different authors a. ssure that the professional development of nursing must have a binding approach that relates management, administration and professional competencies. Nursing is today a profession of the first order in the universal health system, recognized as the main protagonist in the care and attention of the patient, which requires these professionals updated knowledge that is manifested in their performance. For this reason, this research examines the theories on competence, management and administration in the practice of nursing, through a bibliographic review in databases, taking into account the inclusion and exclusion criteria chosen. Once the search was carried out, 11 documents related to the objective of the research were selected. Based on a critical review of the theoretical framework, the knowledge, capacity, leadership, social commitment and communication of nursing were identified as the central axis in the comprehensive care of the patient and the comprehensive development of the nursing professional.
