Mapping the Research in Orange Economy: A Bibliometric Analysis


Abstract:

Currently, people and companies face creative and innovation challenges, so they must be constantly evolving, it is here that the creative economy appears as a rapidly growing sector in the world. The purpose of this work is to know the current state of the research done in the orange economy, also known as the creative economy. For this, a data search was carried out in the Web of Science database in the month of August 2021 with the terms “Orange economy” or “creative economy”, and 633 data were obtained. With these data, an analysis Bibliometrics present two approaches: the first examines scientific production and its impact by evaluating authors, countries, publications, and affiliations. In the second, bibliometric mapping or mapping of science, allows analyzing the intellectual structure of the field of study through information from the nuclear level of its structure, meso and macro. As a result, it was possible to observe that the first investigations appear in 1985, but it is not until 2006 that interest has an accelerated increase, although within the top ten of countries that investigate this subject, none of Latin America appears, so neither does any author appear who be a reference in this area of knowledge.
