Mobile App for Automation of Observational Instrument for Continuous Emotional Evaluation

Abstract:

Emotions are psychophysiological expressions that are shown before a stimulus or situation, and their research in user experience environments has been growing exponentially. EMODIANA is an instrument for subjective measurement of emotions and their intensity, validated in experimental environments for academic and physical and motor rehabilitation purposes. A mobile APP is developed to automate EMODIANA, applying the ICONIX heavy-agile development methodology. For the implementation as a cross-platform hybrid application, the Ionic framework is used, and for non-relational database cloud storage, Firebase. The architecture proposed for development is based on the proposal by the Microsoft Application Architecture Guide for mobile applications, with functionalities to manage users and participants, apply EMODIANA, generate graph with interaction results, generate reports and make the pbkp_rediction of the emotional state of the participant.
