“Estudio descriptivo de las experiencias docentes en la escolarización de nna migrantes venezolanos en Guayaquil”


Abstract:

This research describes the teaching experiences related to the schooling of Venezuelan migrant children and youth in the city of Guayaquil. With the emerging wave of migration, the right to education can be violated for the people in mobility. Ecuador went from being a transit country to a destination one, and became responsible for ensuring access to education for migrants. The teaching role is fundamental in the inclusion of their migrant students, the schooling process is evident from a close look through their experiences. For this purpose, a reflective workshop and interviews were prepared that evidenced what the teachers experienced with their migrant students and their adaptation process. It demonstrates their social commitment to the schooling of children and youth, whose characteristics of being a teacher do not end up in the classroom, and their work as a whole with pupils and parents.
