Teaching digital competences in university professors: a meta-analysis and systematic literature review in web of science


Abstract:

This article aims to analyze the scientific production from the Web of Science (WoS) database, associated to teaching digital competence (TDC) in universities. Based on the PRISMA methodology, the following research variables were taken into consideration: 1. Countries in which researches are carried out; 2. Researchers interested in the topic; 3. Methodological designs used in the investigations; 4. Objectives stated in the studies and 5. Main findings or contributions. The research was delimited through ERIC thesaurus or its approximations, 187 scientific publications were located.
