BATSE observations of GS 0834− 430

Abstract:

The X‐ray pulsar GS 0834−430, first seen by GRANAT in 1990, and correctly identified as a new transient pulsar by GINGA, has been observed with the Large Area Detectors (LAD’s) of the Burst and Transient Source experiment (BATSE) on the Compton Gamma Ray Observatory. We present the history of the pulsed flux, the total flux, and the pulsed frequency as well as representative spectra and pulsed profiles.
