Curricular transversality as a route for the development of research competences


Abstract:

The objective was to design the transversal axis research for the development of research skills in the training of professionals of the Universidad Técnica del Norte. The methodology was qualitative framed in the design of the grounded theory and the documentary analysis. As a result, the cross-cutting research proposal conceived as a process was outlined. In conclusion, transversality is a way for the development of investigative competences by being present throughout the curricular structure. By transcending the dimensions of the programmatic contents of the subjects, the transversal development of the research in the formative processes is stimulated.
