Diagnosis of history conceptual contents knowledge in tenth grade, canton pasaje


Abstract:

The conceptual contents of history are essential for the education of historical thinking. With the aim of diagnosing the knowledge level of History of tenth grade students of the schools of Pasaje canton, in contrast with national, provincial and regional standards, a descriptive study was conducted following a quantitative approach. The research was supported by documentary analysis, analytical-synthetic, and statistical methods; the survey technique was also instrumental. This research led to the conclusion that the knowledge of conceptual contents of national, provincial and cantonal history was between medium and low levels, with a marked inclination to the latter.
