Abstract:

The objective of this research was to describe the experiences of Venezuelan migrant children and adolescents (NNA) regarding their schooling process within the educational system. A quantitative and ideographic approach was used; Based on a questionnaire, the experiences of a sample of 50 Venezuelan children in the educational levels of Basic General Education (EGB), Middle, Superior and Baccalaureate of fiscal, fiscomisional and private establishments of the city of Esmeraldas were explored. The results show that the schooling experiences of migrant children are pleasant; however, certain experiences are not, they are marked by the estrangement at the time of differentiating the use of the words of each country, the habits with their peers and when Escolarización de NNA venezolanos en Esmeraldas carrying out certain cultural activities at school. The language and the use of the words of each country give rise to the beginning of interactions between Venezuelan and Ecuadorian children at school.
